You may not believe this, but your attitude is one of the most important things in your life, and it goes along way in determining whether you’re a success or failure. When it comes to achieving goals, your attitude plays a big part.
For instance, let’s look at one of the greatest inventors in the last 200 years. Thomas Edison created the light bulb, and in order to do that, he had to fail at it 10,000 times before he was successful.
Self-enrichment teaches that you fail your way to success, and that if give up, success is all but guaranteed to be out of your reach. However, if you continue you may find that it is probably just around the corner. If you can learn to take this kind of outlook on life, and continuously employ self-enrichment techniques, you will go a long way towards being successful at anything you try.
New habits take 21 days to form, so what you learned from self-enrichment takes 21 days for you to break the old habit and replace it with a new one. If you’ve been plagued by negative thoughts and your outlook on life is grim, you will have to spend at least 21 days to get into the new habit of having a positive attitude.
With that in mind, here is a self-enrichment method that will only take you 21 days to master.
1. Grab a hold of what you’re thinking and make sure that positive. You are in charge of your thoughts, so if you had a negative thought, you need to immediately cancel it and replace it with a positive one. At first, this isn’t going to be easy. If you are used to having a lot of negative thoughts, when you attempt to replace them with positive thoughts, you will probably get a ton negative thoughts before they give up and go away.
2. You will be making, moment by moment decisions and having a completely positive outlook may seem just a pipe dream at first. Just like it took time for you to get in the habit of thinking negatively, it will take you at least as much time to replace it with uplifting thoughts instead of discouraging ones. However, once you decide you are in charge of what you’re thinking, you’ll become very aware of the negative thoughts running through your mind. This is a first solid step towards attaining a positive outlook.
3. Read self enrichment, inspirational material. Taking the time to read self-enriching, inspirational material, you’ll be filling your mind with all the positive energy that the universe has to give you. In this way, you will begin to stamp out the negativity in your life and get into a more positive mindset.
Just by taking these three small steps through self enrichment, you will automatically see an increase in the positive outlook that you have on life.
