If you realize that you devote a significant amount of time in front of the television, then change is in order. Probably, you want to set a time for it, as well as time in pursuit of other more productive endeavors.

3. Prioritize things that need to be done. Not all activities you have in mind or even listed are of equal importance. It would be safe to state that doing the laundry is more important than watching a football game. The idea of finishing laundry before going to watch the game certainly has a better ring to it from many standpoints.

4. Learn to say NO. Many people have trouble refusing and so end up with more task than can be managed. When you prioritize, you know the more important tasks ahead and better acquainted with whether you have the capacity to accept more responsibility and be able to complete it.

5. Divide workload. You don’t have to do everything. Particularly when working with a team, people finish faster when they are placed with a task they can specialize.

6. Keep workplace organized. It is hard to look for stuffs when a place is a mess. Keeping your desk clean and orderly helps to improve efficiency and therefore leads to faster work accomplishment.

7. Set goals. Making achievable goals is essential in time management as it keeps people motivated.
