Meditation is defined in the dictionary as continuous and profound contemplation, usually on religious and philosophical subjects or in other words spiritual and devotional nature. It is especially recommended and deemed helpful for those with hectic schedules and living stressful lifestyles.
Meditation done simply by reflecting upon what we have been able to accomplish within the day and finding happiness and satisfaction within ourselves has the effect of relieving stress and promoting overall health for the mind, body and spirit.

In the meditation process, there is the opportunity for self enrichment, and thoughts we have previously not accorded the opportunity to come out and be recognized are brought to surface. Each step taken is a step toward better health for both the mind and the body.

The little moments of higher conscious thought processes and creativity add points to self enrichment and heal our mind from the stress of daily grinds and allow it to maintain a more efficient level of operation. Our mind, which often does not need to appear unhealthy to be really unhealthy, sooner or later shows its illness when we neglect to care for it.
