Get your facts straight and learn to appreciate the benefits of protein. This is just one of the things that self enrichment will teach you. In order for your mind, body and spirit to work at peak efficiency, you need to feed it the proper fuel so that it can absorb it and become hyper alert and open to what the universe has to offer.

Let your brain be your guide in assessing the good things that can be delivered by protein. Protein looms large in our diet as this affects the development of our muscles, tissues and organs. Not only that, protein has also a say on the development of our brain. And without protein, then you can just imagine what the effects will be to our body and to our brain.

Our intake of protein for our body is called nutrition. This is the way in order to make the body health and to make sure that our body performs the way it should perform. Part of the reality of learning new things and going through self enrichment studies is that our body is a temple that houses our creativity, inspiration and miraculous healing ability. All of these things take nurturing.

Nurturing our body means providing our body with the right food items, vitamins and minerals. But how do we know that we are doing the right thing and providing our body with its rightful nutritional needs. This can be done thru education, by knowing what our body needs and by knowing what the other members of the family need too. And we can double-check our entire intake by consulting the daily recommendations of the USDA.

By using our mind, we can take the suggestions made by the USDA to heart and jot it down so that we can follow it in our self-enrichment. Per recommendations of the USDA, what a person needs in his self-enrichment will be different to what the other person needs. So the key for self-enrichment is to determine your own needs. You can make it happen by preparing your journal as way of self-enrichment too.

Watch what you eat so that you can keep a tab on your weight. Take into consideration the calorie information and coordinate with the nutritionist to know the recommended daily allowance when it comes to vitamins and minerals.

Your self-enrichment moves should include taking the calorie intake and the nutritional requirements plus the food pyramid into consideration. You can mix and match food items so that you can net the recommended daily requirement and this is known as the individualized healthy eating plan. And by following the plan, you actually allow your mind to work for you.

What we know, our capability to make decisions and our exposure to the environment helps us in getting good health. Decisions will be made and we need to take into account the need for exercise, right food and the right recreation choices.
