Bad habits are an everyday part of life, each one causing more stress over time. Cigarette smoking is a great example of a bad habit that will show traces of its affects over a period of time. When you start out your body is fresh and healthy.

Imagine your organs beginning healthy and strong, and after continuing a bad habit such as smoking, you will slowly see your organs deteriorate and die. If you continue in this fashion without taking the time to learn different ways to cope through self enrichment, you will eventually wind up dead.

Recognizing this fact without learning to do something different, you are killing yourself day-by-day.

Stress is the most overwhelming feeling when a person cannot deal their problems. So people tend to avoid their problems by relying on their bad habits. Bad habits such as drinking can cause serious nerve damage, which has a negative effect on a person’s ability to cope with their stress. People with severe drinking problems are consistently risking their future and lives. Heavy drinking deteriorates the body and can lead to serious legal issues. Bad habits and stress are a vicious cycle, where stress causes the habit and the habit adds more stress.

Self enrichment can help rid a person of destructive habits giving that person a greater chance to make the right decisions, get into a self enrichment cycle instead of a destructive one and have a successful future. Many people who were down and out have come back strong, vibrant and healthy by accepting the self enrichment teachings and making concrete changes in their lives.

Another destructive cycle is overeating. It is not only extremely dangerous long term, but it destroys self-esteem and self confidence in the process. Obsessively eating and refusing to exercise will give a person a much higher risk of obesity, heart failure, strokes, diabetes and premature death. Habits like these may seem to be helping in the short term, but with the knowledge of self enrichment you will see they are truly hurting.

Stress itself is a bad habit that will create many problems in your life. Without the proper tools and coping skills to deal with the issues life throws at you, stress can begin to build up to the point where it is causing harmful effects on your mind and body.

Self enrichment gives you the tools needed to effectively cope with stress and bring order back into your life. When you are able to cope, you have the ability to decrease stress and ditch some habits that may be doing you harm like overeating or drinking. While you may need professional help to quell either of these addictions, knowing they are controlling you life is the first step to regain control.
