Among the constants we have been given in life is stress. Stress becomes a normal and usual part of life right after the moment of birth and we all must find ways to deal with it, whether it is to our liking or not.
Stress presents itself particularly during periods we are faced with problems and discover no available ways and means to address. People faced with mounting pressure often give in to panic, in effect reacting to stressors.
Each individual has a given ability or skill on how to cope up with this since we as humans have varying levels of understanding and we tend to see things in different light. Two persons may have the same problems but under very different circumstances. Therefore, what might work for one might not necessarily apply to another? Self enrichment works in both instances.
Self enrichment makes it imperative that we have an understanding of ourselves, our strengths and weaknesses, and determine how best we will be able to manage stress. Some view office promotion as a stressful condition and react negatively to the attainment while there are others who make the promotion as a stepping stone to even greater achievements.
When a person is used to being laid back and coasting, and given a promotion that requires greater effort to accomplish tasks, this could cause undue stress and pressure. On the other hand, a self starting and hardworking individual relishes the opportunity to exhibit more of his abilities and therefore will be extremely grateful for the opportunity.
It all boils down to our understanding of life stressors, how we view stress and our judgment of what we as an individual can do to overcome them. If everybody viewed promotion in the same eyepiece, we will all have the same understanding that achievements are a vital component of life and that whenever we accomplish something, expectations increase not only within ourselves but also among other people.
Self enrichment leads to our understanding that to those who are adequately prepared for greater demands welcome challenges not as a threat but a stepping stone to further achievements.
When we observe to do our self enrichment activities, we come to a greater appreciation of the positive effects and influence that threat and challenges bring. This enables us to better cope with stress and stressors.
Threats, whether mild or exaggerated, perceived or real, have the ability to bring out the best or the worst in persons.
Self enrichment skills among individuals broaden horizons to allow us to view threats or difficulties in a manner that is positive and bring out the best in our thinking and decision making, our strengths and abilities, and our thoughts and understanding.

Body fitness refers to sound mental and physical health developed through good habits, right exercise and proper diet. It also means the ability to face and handle the stress faced daily in life. Nutrition is the nurture of the body, maintaining health and function the way it is supposed to be. Providing the body with all the necessary nutrients, vitamins and minerals for it to be able to operate efficiently is a vital ingredient to overall fitness. Fitness pertains to the condition or state of the mental, spiritual, and physical health.
Fitness results when both mental and physical body processes are performing at optimal levels. And to achieve absolute body fitness would require more than just a trip to the gym or a walk around the bend. It involves self-enrichment as well. Self-enrichment is giving your life meaning. We don’t keep our bodies fit just for the sake of being fit.
Self enrichment is a vital factor that contributes to body fitness, and there are many factors to consider in body fitness. The intake of daily body necessities such as water, food and essential nutrients are the first things that come to mind. But how about the body conditioning to be able to deal with the daily pressures of life?
Physical exercise is a major activity in the achievement of body fitness. It is a critical element in maintenance and upkeep of a healthy body. Our mind, our physical being and our physical processes as a whole make up our whole body. When body fitness is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is physical condition, particularly weight, body fat and cardiovascular functioning.
But, the body fitness is not just measured by heart rate and waist line. How about the rest of the body organs? The Kidney, liver or the lungs, are these just as fit? And, how can the entire body be fit? Aside from giving our bodies the right amount of exercise, proper and adequate nutrition, and fresh air; we also need to obtain peace of mind, food for thought and sufficient rest. This is self enrichment. We need to replenish nutrients that have been used up and diminished.
The wise use of resources and understanding of body needs in keeping our body fit isn’t too difficult to achieve. We would do well to maintain it over the course of our life. You have to understand that nobody can abuse his body with impunity over the years and regain fitness in a couple of weeks. Bodies don’t get fit overnight.
Whole body fitness is the result of proper care and attention directed to the entire body. Body parts works in accord and in collaboration with each other. It has superior design than any other machine we have on the planet today, and more complex and powerful than what the latest technology has to offer. Despite being deprived of its daily requirements, it can continue to operate for several days. It houses our mind, our heart and our soul. If kept fit, it does a perfect job.

There is a flow of energy that is happening in our body and according to modern alternative medicine and holistic healers, this form of energy radiates from the mind too. This is the carrier of self enrichment communication, too. And we get in constant communication with the flow of energy in our body through breathing techniques, music, the use of aromas and the use of candle therapy and this various ways to self-enrichment helps our body replenish itself and be ready for the challenges of the next day.
But more than physical re transformation, our meditation goes deeper than that as meditation helps us to become aware of things beyond the physical realm.
It is through this meditation and self enrichment techniques that we can actually tap our resources in our mind. These resources are often ignored and only remembered when we give ourselves some time to think, be quiet and be open to possibilities. And if we give ourselves this favor, then it is our spirit that actually gains from it.
But in reality, some people fails to make this happen since they don’t have time to have some quiet moments for self-enrichment. Other issues dominate their mind like job responsibilities, children and the many responsibilities at home. And in most cases, our spirit is focused solely on these activities.
But in self-enrichment called meditation, thoughts that are not usually heard are given the chance to be at the center of our mind. Meditation gives us the quiet time to set our direction in life, and as we make our direction then this can allow us to set our destiny.
Moving towards that goal means developing manifestations, thoughts can become actions and these actions bring us to the right road. And these things are made possible in self-enrichment through quiet reflection.
These are small moments of reflections by these are the times when we allow our spirit to renew itself. Self-enrichment thru solitude allows our spirit to be revived. This is true as well with the mind; it is thru this process that our mind gets to regain its health.
Self-enrichment through solitude is what our spirit needs to remain healthy. There are a lot of ways on how we can attain this kind of health for mind and the spirit. Others do this through community worship and some do this through silent meditation and prayer. It doesn’t matter how we do it as long as we renew our spirituality.

In this age, loads of information from all sources flies from almost all directions. We should feel lucky that we have this information at our disposal. Information about health and fitness are examples of information that we can easily get. But it is not suggested that we absorb all these information all at once; take time to stop and synthesize these loads of self enrichment information and see what works for us.
Synthesizing these loads of information means self-examination first then self-enrichment in the end; this also means asking what is our condition when it comes to fitness and wellness?
Our fitness level is not something that our health professionals will volunteer to tell and we don’t have the capability to get calculate our fitness levels. We get the current situation of our fitness levels courtesy of fitness centers that you can find in many parts of America. These centers employ counselors and they are the ones who can evaluate our fitness levels.
Our wellness on the other hand is a different thing and though this is different to fitness, you still need to remember that these two work hand in hand to keep us healthy.
In this age too, the good life allows us to live longer. Along with these advancements come the temptation to live the life to the fullest- and that’s to more than satisfy our basic needs like eating more than we are allowed to. This may seem like the problem with us, as we improve on one aspect then we get worse on the others.
There has to be a stop to this and we need all these aspects to meet at one point and that can be done by imposing discipline and responsibility. And that is by fusing fitness and wellness which can also extend our lifespan.
The key here is to find where fitness and wellness meet. You can do that to yourself when your principles in life are anchored on clean living, exercise and healthy eating. It’s like yin and yang of the Chinese philosophy- a certain balance should be met and self-enrichment will then follow.
The self-enrichment that we impose on ourselves allows us to discover one of the joys of living. This accomplishment through self-enrichment can set good examples to our children. We do this and our body will not be the only thing that will benefit; our self-enrichment will benefit our spirit, the soul and our inner voice too.
