Bad habits are an everyday part of life, each one causing more stress over time. Cigarette smoking is a great example of a bad habit that will show traces of its affects over a period of time. When you start out your body is fresh and healthy.

Stress is the most overwhelming feeling when a person cannot deal their problems. So people tend to avoid their problems by relying on their bad habits. Bad habits such as drinking can cause serious nerve damage, which has a negative effect on a person’s ability to cope with their stress. People with severe drinking problems are consistently risking their future and lives. Heavy drinking deteriorates the body and can lead to serious legal issues. Bad habits and stress are a vicious cycle, where stress causes the habit and the habit adds more stress.
Self enrichment can help rid a person of destructive habits giving that person a greater chance to make the right decisions, get into a self enrichment cycle instead of a destructive one and have a successful future. Many people who were down and out have come back strong, vibrant and healthy by accepting the self enrichment teachings and making concrete changes in their lives.
Another destructive cycle is overeating. It is not only extremely dangerous long term, but it destroys self-esteem and self confidence in the process. Obsessively eating and refusing to exercise will give a person a much higher risk of obesity, heart failure, strokes, diabetes and premature death. Life happens and sometimes it’s not pleasant; however, there are always alternative reactions and responses.
A man with self control and a different perspective in life because of self enrichment would accept the loss and think of better ways to improve his work or others ways to make money so that there is no room for anger. He would not allow anger to seep into his veins and blind him to any alternative option that might come his way. He would be disappointed, of course, but it would spark inspiration and not anger. He would then be free to still enjoy his family and time away from work without dwelling on something he could not change.
Is exercising techniques learned through self enrichment easy? In the beginning, it is not easy. However, as a person practices and learns more, it gets easier and easier until it’s second nature.
This is why people strive for enlightenment. It allows everyone the opportunity to live our lives and not allow our lives to rule us. It’s not so much what happened to a person; it’s their reaction to it that makes the universe change.

Those that do not possess any form of self restraint cannot be relied upon because they place unimportant matters before those that are important.
Through self enrichment you can develop and employ self discipline to assist you in restraining against temptations that prevent you from completing tasks, it will also aid you in becoming more focused and organized.
As a result of being focused and organize people will begin to see you as a reliable and self sufficient person. When you successfully acquire self discipline you will both increase and strengthen your self confidence and also attain success in your life. Remember that you are responsible for your life, and you must develop traits that will guide your life on the path to success.
Do Not Procrastinate or Become Lazy
